Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony

KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION CEREMONY

Today at church we had a kindergarten graduation for the kids going into kindergarten. There were treats to eat and all the kids got a personalized bible. It was really neat!

Here is Shelby doing one of her most favorite things; eating!

Here are all the kids on stage reciting The Lords Prayer and saying the books of the bible. Notice how Shelby is center stage? Well the funny thing is when she first got on stage she was on the end but right before they started she moved (and probably pushed somebody out of the way) so she could be in the center. Imagine that!

Getting her bible! Ms. Julie is telling everybody about how at Camp Imani Shelby was with the 3rd graders and fit right in and had a blast. She did mention that of course her hair wasn't done pretty and she usually had dirt on her but she had so much fun!

It was a fun day! The bible is really cool. It is the whole bible but is written so kids can understand it. They say it's written at the 3rd grade level so Shelby will be able to grow with it.

That looks like fun. That is really neat that your church does that for the kids. Starting kindergarten is such a huge milestone. It is great that they celebrate it. I can't wait to hear how Taylor likes middle school!

Shelby, it doesn't surprise me that you fit right in with third graders. I bet you were the cutest one there too.
