Shelby's reading

Much to my surprise Shelby was recognized at school for getting all of her questions right on her tests on Accelerated Listening - it's like AR but for Kindergartner's who are not doing the AR tests yet. She and the girl next to her in the blue shirt, her friend Brigid were the only 2 who answered 100 % correctly on their tests.

Yea Shelby!!

Shelby's

This is Shelby's presidential report on Calvin Coolidge. I thought she did really great. This was my first time to post a video so I hope it turns out. Of course today, when I did not have my camera, Shelby did chapel and she recited all the presidents! She stood in front of the mic with two other kids but she was right in front of it so she was the only one you heard. She did great! She got all the presidents right. I was so proud of her!

Shelby's first Karate tournament

Shelby had her very first karate tournament today. As you can see she won. She was very proud of herself as was I. I was trying something different in placing the pictures so they are not in order. The picture at the bottom is before she went and these two are after she got back home. Of course I made her put her jacket back on so I could get her picture with her medal. Aww Mom!!

Tyler's thumb injury

I know these are gross, but just to give you an idea of what we dealt with this week. We still don't know what he did to it, but it is MUCH BETTER NOW!! We are still on antibiotics but doing so much better.

Western Day

This isn't the best picture, but here we are at school for western day!

This was Tyler's first jog a thon! I thought he did great!
